Tyler MacDougall, age 26, was born with sensorineural hearing loss. His condition was easily detected as his older brother was also born with sensorineural hearing loss. He attended Westford Academy with a 504 plan where he participated in accelerated courses and played on school sports teams. Upon graduation, Tyler enrolled at the University of New Hampshire where he earned a B.S in Health Management and a Minor in Business in 2013. Since July of 2013, Tyler has been employed as a Financial Project Analyst at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston and currently resides in Somerville. Tyler has always worn behind the ear hearing aids and FM systems in school and currently wears Rexton Targa Plus.
