Kim Davis, a 17 year old with hearing loss from Worcester, MA recently returned from a trip she took to Peru with other deaf teenagers through No Barriers Youth. While in Peru, she and the other twelve teens got to meet two groups of deaf teenagers and children from Peru. Throughout their week, they learned that the special education system in Peru was very different than that in America, and there was very little support for deaf and hearing individuals in Peru. Kim will be joining us to further share what she learned from this exciting experience.
